Description
The 8.2′, black Comica CVM-D02 provides podcasters, mobile journalists, and documentary makers with a cost-effective solution that simplifies recording two-person interviews. It comes with two lavalier microphones that let you record clear and accurate speech directly to the single input of your DSLR/mirrorless camera or audio recorder. It can also be used with a GoPro camera or an iPhone/Android smartphone/tablet that’s equipped with a headphone jack.
The microphones feature an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from every direction, allowing for a variety of placement options and freedom of movement—even when the subject turns away from the mic. The included alligator-style mic clip holds the mics firmly in place on clothing.
The built-in cable provides plenty of length for standing at an optimal distance in front of your camera. It is equipped with a 3.5mm TRS connector that plugs into your DSLR or mirrorless camera. Two adapters are included: one for connecting the mics to your GoPro camera and one with a TRRS connector for connecting to the headphone jack of a smartphone.
The unit is powered via your camera so you don’t have to remember to change the battery. The metal construction offers shielding from radio frequency noise, and two furry windscreens are provided to protect your mics against wind noise, even when shooting outdoor. A carrying case lets you safely store and transport your equipment.
