20.9MP 1″ CMOS Sensor and DIGIC X Processing
Pairing a 20.9MP 1″ CMOS sensor and DIGIC X image processor, the PowerShot V10 delivers high-quality video and stills imagery in the palm of your hand. Record for up to an hour in a variety of lighting conditions, the camera offers a flexible ISO 125-3200 in 4K UHD, ISO 125-3200 in Full HD, and ISO 125-12800 for still photos. The camera’s rolling shutter shoots video between 1/4000-1/25 second and stills between 1/2000-1/8 second. The DIGIC X image processing allows for expansive creative options, featuring 14 color filters and a Smooth Skin shooting mode.
Versatile Video Capture
With video recording features such as uncropped UHD 4K movie recording at up to 29.97 fps, Full HD high frame rate movie recording at up to 59.94 fps, and live streaming in Full-HD at 30 fps, making vlogging and video content creation simple and convenient. To shoot vertically, simply set the camera on its side, and it will adjust accordingly. The UVC capability allows the PowerShot V10 to be used as a web camera to stream live video in Full HD without additional computer software. Compatible services include YouTubeLive and FacebookLive along with other online web conferencing software.
19mm Lens with Autofocus
The camera’s 19mm wide-angle lens has a 97.5° angle of view during video shooting and a 100.2° angle of view for stills, broad enough to capture an entire scene or take self-facing video without stretching your arm out. Autofocus is accomplished with contrast detection across the entire frame, with the options for Face Tracking and area-specific autofocus in 31 individual zones when shooting stills. The lens opens to wide f/2.8 to further extend the camera’s low-light capabilities.
180°, Upward Tilting Touchscreen LCD
A large 2″ 460,000-dot touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for controlling focusing points, navigating menus, and reviewing imagery. This screen also features a 180°, upward-tilting design for rear- and front-facing viewing.
Flexible Connectivity
