Tilta Hydra Articulating Car Mounting System with Electronic Suction Cups HDA-T11-A Overview

Capture smooth, dynamic action shots from the interior or exterior of a vehicle with the Hydra Articulating Car Mounting System with Electronic Suction Cups from Tilta. The system includes three electronic suction cups with NATO rail mounts, three heavy-duty articulating arms, and a 75mm ball head that can be adjusted up to 15° to achieve your desired shooting angle. The battery-powered suction cups provide real-time monitoring of the pressure and will automatically apply more suction in case of a leak.

A Manfrotto quick release system allows you to secure your compatible Arca-type or Manfrotto camera cages and rigs to the car mount. The system also includes a 75/100mm bowl adapter to accommodate different ball heads. Once assembled, the system has a load capacity of 44 lb to support most rig configurations. Store all of the components in the included carrying case for easy transport.

ELECTRONIC SUCTION CUP SAFETY NOTICE

The Electronic Suction Cup, like other suction cups, has the potential to leave marks on various surfaces. It is recommended to take precautions such as using protective film or other materials to protect the surface being used. Using these suction cups in direct sunlight or in hotter environments can increase the chance of leaving a mark. It is not recommended to use these suction cups with wrapped vehicles.

It is recommended to use this suction cup on a flat surface with the weight of the arm balanced over the center of the suction cup. Extending the arm past the suction cup or side mounting the suction cup can increase the risk of failure. In these situations we recommend taking additional precautions such as further securing the system with Ratchet Straps or Safety Chains.

Regardless of additional safety measures, we always recommend pushing down the suction cup when first attaching it to any surface. The suction cup should be as flat against the surface as possible and should look noticeably flatter than when not attached. Attaching the suction cup without applying physical force to it can greatly increase the chance of accidental disconnection.
